Helping each other help wildlife

From as young as I can remember, I have had a fascination with all things monkey and ape alike. I was in awe of woman like Dian Fossey and Jane Goodall, living in jungles experiencing first hand their natural behaviours. Fast forward to my adult years and the fascination has never faded. In August of 2018, I was thrilled to explore Africa with my nephew. Exploring safari’s in Kenya and Botswana, we learned about the beauty of the “big five” (elephant, Lion, Leopard, rhino and buffalo), along with so many others like the giraffe and even ostriches! As spectacular as it all that was, in Rwanda, my dream came true, when we trekked up the mountain to see the Mountain Gorilla.

Upon my return to Canada, I have spent time editing images and being reminded of the challenges these wild beauties face each day of their natural life, from loss of habitat to human poaching. Aside from dreaming of when I can go back, I keep asking what can I do to help with the conservation of these majestic animals in the wild? My answer: “use your art Tammy!”

For every image purchased from my “Wild Walls for Wildlife” collection, 20% of the sales will be donated to the Ellen Degeneres Wildlife Fund (https://ellendegenereswildlifefund.org)

In 2018, the fund was established to help global conservation efforts for critically endangered species. I am hoping through your support in purchasing one of these canvas printed images, together we can help Ellen help the greater good for our wildlife population.
